Bringing a Wildfire Planning Firmβs New Brand to Life
Bintel had spent years doing serious, technical work for communities facing wildfire risk, but its brand and website no longer reflected that expertise. With a new identity in place for 2026, the goal was to carry it across every touchpoint: a rebuilt website, a presentation system built for public meetings, and the everyday materials that put the brand in front of clients.
About the Client
Bintel is a Broomfield, Colorado firm led by CEO Tom Marsh that develops Community Wildfire Protection Plans (CWPPs) for government agencies, fire districts, municipalities, tribal nations, and land managers. Their team combines geospatial technology, fire science, and community engagement to help communities understand their wildfire risk and plan for it. Their work spans the country, from Custer County, South Dakota to the Denali Borough in Alaska.
The Challenge
Bintelβs work is detailed and data-driven, and their audience ranges from agency staff to residents at community meetings. The old brand, with its 2018 shield logo and red palette, felt dated, and the website didnβt explain the CWPP process or show the depth of their completed plans. Bintel needed a cohesive brand system and a site that made a complex, multi-phase process easy to understand and easy to trust.
